Be part of the 70th Anniversary Commemoration Series of the Hungarian Revolution of 1956!

Our film production of Oscar contender and multi-award-winning documentary, TORN FROM THE FLAG, about the 1956 Hungarian Freedom Fight and the Cold War, is leading the new, international initiative, the 70 for 70 Anniversary Commemoration Series paying homage to the Hungarian heroes and the events of 1956, and celebrating the brave Hungarian spirit.

Our goal is to raise funds for:

Screenings of the film TORN FROM THE FLAG
Speaking engagements with the filmmakers
Educating the public about this landmark historic event
Exhibiting the 1956-themed fine art etching also entitled TORN FROM THE FLAG, and
Presenting the movie's symbols-filled modern poster to audiences

in at least 70 public locations to spread the inspiring and powerful message worldwide.

Your donation will be used to pay for:

Necessary technical update of our older film format for public screenings
Hiring staff for a year to organize 70 national and worldwide screenings and exhibitions
Shipping film, artwork, and posters to 70 national and international locations
Support for travel to/from speaking engagements and venue rental

Is my donation tax deductible?

Depends on a few factors like if you received a reward in exchange for the donation and the value of your donation above that rewards cost, etc. You may contact the nonprofit you donated to directly to receive information on whether or not your donation is tax deductible. Nonetheless, the emailed receipts you will receive for your donation is the documentation you need to make it tax deductible.

How do I know that my donation was made successfully?

You will receive an emailed receipt immediately after your donation is submitted and your credit card is processed. Your donation will also show up on your bank or card statement within 1-3 business days.

Do I get a receipt?

Yes, a receipt is sent to your email inbox once your donation is processed. Please be sure to keep a copy of your receipt for tax purposes. If you select a recurring donation, you will be sent an individual receipt each period when your donation is processed.
